Support for Ukraine

Since Russia’s full-scale neocolonial invasion of Ukraine began on February 24, 2022, Volodymyr Nosov has donated more than $11 million, both personally and through authorized WhiteBIT funds, to support his country. These contributions have provided tens of thousands of food parcels to displaced Ukrainians living in emergency shelters.
Part of this funding has been directed to humanitarian organizations, volunteer groups, and charities, including UNITED24, Serhiy Prytula’s Charity Foundation, Tabletochki, Rescue Now, and others.
As both a philanthropist and president of a football club, Nosov also supports the charitable initiatives of the Ukrainian Football Association, the national governing body of football in Ukraine.

“Today we are all on the same field and in the same team — the Ukrainian people, the army, business, the state, and international partners. And it's not just about protecting our home. If we stop, we will get evil and chaos instead of democratic rights and freedoms. Therefore, we must continue to fight for Ukraine's victory. In unity and with faith in a better future for the entire democratic world.”

Support for civilians in Ukraine and assistance to the Armed Forces of Ukraine

From the onset of Russia's full-scale war against Ukraine, Volodymyr Nosov has initiated extensive purchases of food and other essential goods. The suffering civilians of his native city of Kharkiv have been a focus, together with diverse liberated areas in Donetsk, Chernihiv, Dnipro, Hostomel, and Bucha.
Volodymyr Nosov and WhiteBIT donated over $263,000 to help the victims of Russia’s breaching of the Kakhovka dam in June 2023, one of the largest man-made disasters the world has ever seen.
In April 2024 he supported the opening of the “NGO Space” Civil Society Center in Dnipro to facilitate the coordination of humanitarian aid, support for combat brigades and victims of Russia’s assault on civilians.
Volodymyr's numerous patriotic activities include assistance to the Armed Forces of Ukraine, targeted assistance to the military and individual units of the Armed Forces, paramedics and volunteers.

Support for cultural and sports initiatives

Committed to countering and repairing the damage caused by Russia’s invasion of his homeland, Volodymyr Nosov demonstrates a deep sense of social responsibility, both personally and through WhiteBIT, by supporting a wide range of cultural and sports initiatives.
In 2023, under the WhiteBIT banner, Volodymyr Nosov participated in projects organized by the “Don’t Take Fake” team. Funds raised through its «Module of Temporality» and «Spectral Poetry» initiatives were directed toward the restoration of Ukrainian art galleries, monuments, institutions, and museums damaged by Russia’s brutal aggression.

Partnership with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs to help Ukrainians from all over the world

Since April 2022, WhiteBIT has been working in partnership with Ukraine’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs to support Ukrainian refugees and citizens displaced around the world.
As part of this effort, the company launched an inclusive initiative for deaf Ukrainians who have been relocated across Europe. The program includes a 24-hour chatbot service and call center offering consultations and assistance. In addition, seven batches of specialized technical equipment have been donated to provide emergency support for Ukrainians abroad.
WhiteBIT’s collaboration with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs highlights how modern technology can enhance humanitarian efforts, offering practical and effective solutions even under the most challenging circumstances.

Charity auctions

Supporting charitable initiatives has become an essential part of life during the war in Ukraine. Volodymyr Nosov takes an active role in charity auctions that raise funds for the medical treatment, rehabilitation, and trauma recovery of wounded Ukrainian soldiers and civilians.
  • In June 2022, Nosov placed the winning bid of $900,000 at a charity auction to purchase the crystal microphone won by Kalush Orchestra, the Ukrainian champions of Eurovision 2022. The proceeds were used to acquire a PD-2 drone system for Ukraine’s Armed Forces.
  • In November 2022, he purchased a 1974 Rolls-Royce Silver Shadow, once owned by Freddie Mercury, for £250,000 at a Sotheby’s charity auction in London. All proceeds went toward establishing Superhumans, a modern rehabilitation and prosthetics center for wounded soldiers and civilians in Lviv, Ukraine.
  • In December 2023, during the Forbes Ukraine charity auction, Nosov contributed $400,000 to purchase the Mapex Saturn drum kit used by the famous Ukrainian band Boombox. The funds were directed toward the purchase of four UAV drones for the Ukrainian Armed Forces.
