Investments in education & cooperation with NaUKMA

Volodymyr Nosov's activity in education has far-reaching goals. Targeting the field of blockchain technologies & virtual assets, the next-generation industrialist recruited a leading institution in the country’s higher education scene, the National University of “Kyiv-Mohyla Academy” (NaUKMA). This link seeks to boost levels of crypto literacy among young people, and to increase the numbers of personnel qualified & trained to benefit Ukraine’s IT industry.
As part of Nosov’s partnership with NaUKMA, WhiteBIT contributed to the restoration of the university's historic building, where it helped to create a modern educational space for IT professionals. Two classrooms, a multifunctional auditorium for lectures, events, and conferences, as well as a meeting room and a classroom for student projects have all been equipped.
Besides rooms and equipment, WhiteBIT and NaUKMA developed new programs, including the first in Eastern Europe Master's program in Blockchain Technologies, whose graduates receive tokenized certificates on the Whitechain blockchain. Students have been trained in cryptography’s use in blockchain technologies, in algorithms for distributed cryptocurrency exchange based on smart contracts (DeFi), and in how to develop & implement smart contracts & technical tools for regulating cryptocurrencies. The result has been  them gaining in-depth knowledge in blockchain, the rapidly developing industry which will define theirs and Ukraine’s future.

Cooperation with Ukraine’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs

Volodymyr Nosov's partnership with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine has set a new benchmark in the quality of cooperation between businesses and Ukraine’s wartime government. Started in consequence of Russia's indiscriminate, full-scale aggression against Nosov’s homeland, it aims to help his fellow Ukrainians exiled outside the country by Putin’s willed violence.
Providing native-language guidance to Ukrainians sheltering in 96 countries, a consulting call center and a 24/7 chatbot service handle requests and give advice.
Real-time inclusive project for Ukrainians with hearing impairments, is Nosov’s achievement, made available to enquirers to any of more than 50 Ukrainian consulates and embassies in Europe. Such a feat underlines, in the technologist’s opinion, the essential importance of business social responsibility during times of national turmoil.  It underpins Nosov's commitment to making a positive contribution to supporting Ukrainians abroad.

Support for cultural projects

Volodymyr Nosov actively supports cultural projects in Ukraine, in particular through his cooperation with the “don't Take Fake” team. The funds raised from these initiatives were donated to restore art institutions, monuments, and museums in Ukraine, following their damage or destruction inflicted by Putin’s aggressors. Among the team’s projects:
  • The “Module of Temporality (MOT) is a temporary cultural space in Kyiv, created by an international team of over 100 people. It aimed to capture the flowability of life, enhancing the desire to live, create, and fight, despite the privations of war. The main event was an exhibition of contemporary art featuring 28 artists from ten countries.
  • “Spectral Poetry”  is a project by Spanish artist Pablo Valbuena, which aims to give voices to the closed monuments in Kyiv, Ukraine’s capital. Three monuments barricaded against Russian missiles came to life in a light show, accompanied by readings from Ukrainian poets. The project stressed how essential it is for a nation to preserve its history and culture when under attack, thus highlighting how art endures even in times of war.
