Investments in education and cooperation with NaUKMA

Volodymyr Nosov’s involvement in education reflects his long-term vision for Ukraine’s future. Focusing on blockchain technologies and virtual assets, he partnered with one of the country’s leading academic institutions — the National University of “Kyiv-Mohyla Academy” (NaUKMA) — to strengthen crypto literacy among young people and to expand the number of qualified specialists driving the nation’s IT industry forward.
As part of this partnership, WhiteBIT contributed to the restoration of NaUKMA’s historic building, creating a modern educational environment for future IT professionals. The company helped equip two classrooms, a multifunctional auditorium for lectures, events, and conferences, as well as a meeting room and a workspace for student projects.
Beyond physical infrastructure, WhiteBIT and NaUKMA jointly developed new academic programs, including the first Master’s program in Blockchain Technologies in Eastern Europe. Graduates of the program receive tokenized certificates issued on the Whitechain blockchain. The curriculum includes training in cryptography and its applications in blockchain, distributed exchange algorithms based on smart contracts (DeFi), and the development and implementation of smart contracts and regulatory tools for cryptocurrencies.
Through this collaboration, students gain in-depth, practical knowledge in blockchain — a rapidly growing field that is set to define both their professional future and the technological advancement of Ukraine.

Cooperation with Ukraine’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs

Volodymyr Nosov’s partnership with the Foreign Affairs of Ukraine of Ukraine has set a new standard for cooperation between the private sector and the government during wartime. Initiated in response to Russia’s full-scale and indiscriminate aggression against Ukraine, the collaboration is designed to support Ukrainians forced into exile by the ongoing conflict.
Through this initiative, native-language assistance is provided to Ukrainians seeking refuge in 96 countries. A consulting call center and a 24/7 chatbot service respond to inquiries and offer real-time advice and support.
A particularly notable achievement is the inclusive communication project for Ukrainians with hearing impairments, implemented under Nosov’s leadership. This service is available through more than 50 Ukrainian consulates and embassies across Europe, ensuring that every citizen can access help when needed.
For Nosov, this initiative highlights the crucial role of corporate social responsibility during times of national crisis. It reflects his personal commitment to using technology and innovation to make a meaningful difference in the lives of Ukrainians abroad.

Support for cultural projects

Volodymyr Nosov actively supports cultural projects in Ukraine, in particular through his cooperation with the “don't Take Fake” team. The funds raised from these initiatives were donated to restore art institutions, monuments, and museums in Ukraine, following their damage or destruction inflicted by Putin’s aggressors. Among the team’s projects:
  • The “Module of Temporality (MOT) is a temporary cultural space in Kyiv, created by an international team of over 100 people. It aimed to capture the temporality of life, enhancing the desire to live, create, and fight, despite the privations of war. The main event was an exhibition of contemporary art featuring 28 artists from ten countries.
  • “Spectral Poetry”  is a project by Spanish artist Pablo Valbuena, which aims to give voices to the closed monuments in Kyiv, Ukraine’s capital. Three monuments barricaded against Russian missiles came to life in a light show, accompanied by readings from Ukrainian poets. The project emphasized the importance of preserving a nation's history and culture when under attack, thereby highlighting how art endures even in times of war.
